Streff Associates is pleased to announce that Psychotherapist Melinda Struthers, MA, LMHC has joined our staff. Melinda has immediate openings for new adult outpatient clients (18+) via in-person and telehealth.

Melinda Struthers, LMHC Licensed Mental Health Counselor Melinda works with older adolescents (18+), adults, and elders. She has years of experience in a variety of mental health settings treating people across the lifespan. The focus of her treatment includes anxiety, depression, parent/child relationship challenges, trauma, stage of life issues, as well as issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Melinda has conducted therapeutic groups in topics including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, art expression, and informational groups for adults on the autism spectrum. She utilizes a variety of treatment approaches including DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Melinda is also an artist who incorporates the use of creative activities to help identify challenging patterns involving thoughts, behaviors and feelings. An experienced clinician, she strives to support growth and change in her clients by providing a safe space for collaborative therapeutic work.

Melinda currently accepts Medicare (but not Medicaid), Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO/PPO, OPTUM, Unitedhealthcare, United Behavioral Health, Mass General Brigham HMO/PPO (but not ACO), Tufts HMO/PPO and private payment.
